 THE ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE OF CONFED IS AS UNDER:-

Confed Head Office at Chandigarh plans, implements, coordinates, monitors various schemes/policies of the State Govt.The Board of Director is the supreme authority of Confed. The business of Confed is carried out and managed by the Managing Director.The Managing Director is appointed by the State Govt. whereas other man-power are appointed by the BOD of Confed. Confed has its Distt. Offices at all District Headquarter which are manned by Distt. Managers who supervise, control and ensure implementation and execution of policies framed by the Head Office.


The activities of Confed Head Office have been divided into the following departments:


 

Department

Function.

Business

To make available foodgrains and other essential commodities at the door steps of Fair Price Shops under Targetted Public Distribution System(TPDS) and provide essential commodities to weaker section of the society on subsidized rates.

Procurement

To ensure remunerative prices to the farmers by procuring their produce on Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Govt. of India. To provide adequate and scientific storage of Wheat/Paddy/Bajra.

P&D

To plan monitor organization growth and development. To convene meetings of Board of Directors and Election thereof. To supervise the construction activities and maintenance.

Finance & Accounts.

Preparation of budget and maintain accounts of the Federation. To make adequate arrangements of funds on minimum cost and optimum utilization of funds.

Audit & Recovery

To audit the accounts and ensure recovery of outstanding amounts.

Administration

To develop human resources of Confed and provide training to them.

MANPOWER AND EMPLOYMENT.

Confed has a team of dedicated and hardworking personnel with experience of more than 25 years. At the time of its registration, it was an organization with majority of its employees taken on deputation from Haryana Cooperative Department. With the passage of time, Confed strengthened itself with the recruitment of competent and qualified persons at various levels. At present, it has 363 employees including management, supervisory and field staff. Apart from the above, Confed provides indirect employment to thousands of people in the State of Haryana through its business activities like transportation of lifting of foodgrains for supplies to depot holders under TPDS and procurement of Wheat, Paddy & Bajra.
